About

Hi, I’m Melissa Patton — a recent Computer Science graduate from Elizabethtown College with a concentration in Web and Application Design and a minor in Graphic Design. I’m passionate about creating meaningful, intuitive digital experiences by combining technical skills with a strong visual sense. My goal is to develop user-focused websites and applications that are both functional and visually compelling.
Creativity has always been an important part of my life. From digital design to traditional crafts like sewing, I’ve found that bringing ideas to life — whether through code or art — is deeply fulfilling. Through my studies in computer science, I discovered a space where my creativity and my enthusiasm for solving complex problems intersect. This blend of analytical thinking and artistic expression is what drives my work and motivates me to continue learning and growing as a developer and designer.
Throughout college, I was a student-athlete on the Elizabethtown College track and field team, where I had the honor of serving as team captain. Leading and supporting my teammates taught me the value of perseverance, teamwork, and communication — skills I bring with me into every project and professional setting. I was also active in the women’s club soccer team and the Computer Science Club, where I built lasting connections and strengthened my sense of community and collaboration.
Outside of work and athletics, I love spending time outdoors — whether it's hiking, running, or going on camping trips. I’m currently training for a half marathon, which keeps me focused, disciplined, and constantly pushing my limits. Nature helps me recharge and reminds me of the importance of balance and curiosity in both life and work.
As I begin my professional journey, I’m excited to contribute to innovative teams, learn from experienced mentors, and build technology that makes a positive impact on people’s lives.
