Who Am I?

Hello, I'm Melissa, and I'm excited to introduce myself! Currently, I'm a student at Elizabethtown College, where I'm majoring in computer science with a focus on web and application design. Additionally, I'm pursuing a minor in graphic design. My professional goal is to merge my passion for creativity with my technical skills to develop visually striking and user-friendly websites.  Creativity has always been a central part of my life, and I find joy in bringing ideas to fruition, whether through digital design or traditional crafts like sewing. In the realm of computer science, I've realized that I can integrate my fondness for creativity and my enthusiasm for problem-solving into a single pursuit, which I can harness for a positive impact.

When Iā€™m not in class on campus, you will likely find me running around the track as a member of the Elizabethtown College track team. Not only am I part of the team, but I also have the honor of being one of the captains. Leading and motivating my teammates to push their limits is incredibly rewarding. In addition to running track, I am a member of the Elizabethtown College women's club soccer team and computer science club. Teamwork and camaraderie are everything to me, and soccer provides the perfect outlet for that when im not in track season. And when I'm not busy with all of that, you can bet I'm out in nature, soaking up the sunshine, hiking, or going on camping trips. There's nothing quite like disconnecting from the world and reconnecting with the great outdoors.
